sick

been feeling nauseous all day, the kind of tummyache that ultimately wants one thing - fountain mr. pibb.

for real it makes me feel better, but i got to wondering about it's medicinal properties. how does your garden grow, mr. pibb?

here is what i learned:

citric acid is used in food products to produce tangy or sour tastes. "citric acid" seems like it would be a derivative of lemons and limes and other citrus fruits, but it is cheaper and easier to mass produce this same taste from fermented "aspergillus niger" or the black mold that comes from fermented molasses and phosphoric acid.

this mold is common to onion fields, appeared within the jewled walls of ancient egytpian tombs, and found within humans as "otomycosis" - aka fungal ear infections.

here it is being cultured for industrial use:

whoa we are filthy creatures.
